Akorn don't have a glitzy showroom but don't let that put you off. What they provide is real, genuine, old-fashioned customer service and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. From first walking in to their showroom, through design of the kitchen, to its installation and project management I couldn't fault them and I now have a truly lovely, new kitchen which is much admired by all who visit.
Akorn make all the cabinets on site so you get a made-to-measure kitchen, and their designer, Wayne, deserves special mention for his endless patience and equally endless stream of ideas and 'never give up' attitude in ensuring the design is exactly the kitchen that you want. In this day and age where getting things done 'right first time' is a rarity, I put Akorn at the top of the tree.
With all the upheaval that a new kitchen brings, I have to say they made it as painless as possible and were a genuinely nice bunch of people to have around the house. I quite miss them!
